Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary, gathering for a family reunion, or hosting an annual business party, the accommodations of the Storybook Guest House provide a unique and beautiful setting for your event. Guests can mingle on the spacious grounds or enjoy the party rooms of this splendid retreat. Use of the house includes:
  • Use of the beautiful landscaped grounds
  • Use of two party rooms
  • Available kitchen for caterers

Guests are responsible for the following arrangements:

  • Parking arrangements (two large lots are located nearby and parking is allowed on the street). Rental shuttles are also available in the area.
  • Event portable toilets (available for rental in the area)
  • Tents, tables, linens, chairs, setups

To reserve the Storybook Guesthouse accommodations for your special event, we request:

  • A signed damage and use agreement
  • 50% deposit at booking and remaining 50% upon arrival

Rates & Fees
Non-event

  • Lodging for 1 or 2: $149.00 a night plus taxes
  • Extra guests: $14.00 each

Event Nights

These include major holidays and also First Friday Art Walks, Mardi Gras, Arts & Crafts Festival (xth weekend in March), July 4, Coastal Birdfest, Lighting of the Trees (Thursday before Thanksgiving), Open House (Sunday before Thanksgiving), New Year’s Eve

  • Lodging for 1 or 2: $179.00 a night plus taxes
  • Extra guests: $14.00 each
  • Deposit: 1 night’s charge

Weekly Rental Non-event week,

  • 1 or 2 guests: $750.00 plus taxes (save $293)
  • Including one event night: $ 780.00
  • Including two event nights: $ 810.00
  • Deposit: 2 nights’ charge
  • Check-in Between 3 and 10 p.m.Call for late arrival arrangements.
  • Checkout By 11:00 a.m.Later checkout maybe arranged.

Policies

  • 72-hour cancellation policy (five days for events)

Small Events (fewer than 25 people)

  • 4 hours $ 250.00
  • 6 hours $ 375.00

Weddings & Large Events

(includes lodging and use of kitchen)

  • 1 day: $ 1,500
  • 2 days: $ 2,500
  • 3 days: $ 3,000
  • Deposit: 50% due at time of booking
  • Cancellations: No refunds are issued 30 days after booking
  • Setup: After 11 a.m. (call for earlier arrangements)
